Lost: Missing Pieces

This is the guide of Mobisodes that ABC and the Lost creators put out between seasons 3 & 4. There are 13 mini-episodes, which lead up to the Season 4 premire.


Mobisode 1 : The Watch
A Jack Episode


This scene was a missing piece of Jack's flashback from the day of his wedding to Sarah. In it, Christian gives Jack a watch that belonged to his Grandfather. Christian said that he was given it because Margo was not the women he should have married. However, he believed Jack made the right choice with Sarah. Jack accepts the watch and put it on. Christian than gives Jack advice to treat his future children better than he was treated. This is one of the rare times we see Jack and Christian bond.


Mobisode 2 : The Adventures of Hurley & Frogurt
A Hurley Episode


This halarious scene was a missing piece from Season 2. Hurley was getting ready for his date with Libby, when he dropped a wine bottle from Rose & Bernard's tent. Niel, commonly known as Frogurt by Hurley and Bernard, picked a fight with Hurley because of borrowing things from Bernard without asking. However, Hurley did. Then Niel told him that he was going to be with Libby after Hurley failed. However, Niel didn't know that Hurley and Libby were already together.


Mobisode 3 : King of the Castle
A Ben & Jack Episode


This scene was a missing piece from the time Jack was staying with "the Others" in Season 3. Ben and Jack are playing chess, and talking about Jack leaving for America. Ben tells him that leaving the island isn't a wise decison. Jack however, plays it off, wanting to go home. Ben then tells him that he'll regret this decision, forshadowing the Flashfoward from Season 3. Then Ben says that the island will stop him, if he's not to leave. Jack jokes saying it will sink the sub, and Ben laughes. When a few days later, Locke blew up the sub.


Mobisode 4 : The Deal
A Michael & Juliet Episode


This scene was a missing piece from the time Michael was being held by "the Others" in Season 2. Juliet came in to talk to him about Bea's deal. She told him that Jack was holding a man they needed in the Swan Hatch. The man pretending to be "Henry" needed to come back. He would promise Michael that Walt would come back, if he got Jack, Kate, Sawyer, and Hurley and let "Henry" go. When Michael asked if "Henry" would keep his word, Juliet said yes because she was going to go home to Miami. Michael asked how long Juliet had been there and she said 3 years. Michael wasn't persuaded, but Juliet told him to take any means nessicary to get Walt.


Mobisode 5 : Operation Sleeper
A Jack & Juliet Episode


This scene was a missing piece from Season 3 after Juliet took Sun to cofirm her pregnancy. Juliet goes into Jack's tent and tells him that Ben is trying to take all the pregnant women for her to save. Juliet explains to Jack everything Ben wants and why she was brought in the first place. After noticing Juliet's change of heart, Jack then agrees that he needs to help her so they all can finally leave the island.


Mobisode 6 : Room 23
A Ben & Juliet Episode


This scene was a missing piece from Season 2 when "the Others" were holding Walt. Warning lights were going off in the Hydra station, as Ben runs up to Juliet. He asks what happened, and Juliet says the child is showing disturbing signs again. Everyone is scared of him and Juliet, Bea, and Tom do not want to deal with him, so Juliet asks Ben to go in Room 23. However, Ben won't do it either and reminds them that Jacob sent him there for his purpose. Juliet then says a child could not do the things he's doing. She takes Ben outside where there are at least a dozen dead birds who the child had crashed and killed against the window. This confirms that Walt had telakanieseis powers.


Mobisode 7 : Arzt's and Crafts
An Arzt, Sun, Jin, Hurley, and Michael Episode


This other halarious scene was a missing piece from Season 1, when Dr. Arzt was still alive. Jin and Sun are unpacking some of their clothes and discuss other charcters. Jin thinks Shannon and Boone are a couple, but Sun says they are brother and sister. Jin gets skeptical about how Sun knows, but before she can say anything, Dr. Arzt runs up to them. He asks Sun, Jin, Hurley, and Michael if they are going to the caves. Most are, but Arzt doesn't want to. He doesn't understand why they should listen to Jack because he's only a doctor. Everyone else, however agrees with Jack to go to the caves, except Michael. But when Arzt starts to rant on Jack, "the MONSTER" starts to roar! Arzt is scared straight and decides to go move to the caves.


Mobisode 8 : Burried Secrets
A Sun and Michael Episode


This scene was a missing piece from Season 1, when Sun was still having problems with Jin. While Jin was fishing, Sun went into the jungle to burry her California's driver liscense, which she was going to use after leaving him. She gets interrupted by Michael, who is looking for Vincent. Sun tries to explalin to him why, but he doesn't care. He tells her that it was her own businesses, and they get to start over again when they leave. However, Sun thinks the island is her punishment and starts to cry. Michael holds her and comforts her telling her everything will be alright. Sun believes him, and they almost kiss. But they are interupted by Vincent barking. Sun hurries away, and after calming down, Michael goes after Vincent.


Mobisode 9 : Tropical Depression
An Arzt and Michael Episode


This scene was a funny missing piece from Season 1, when Michael, Sawyer, Jin, and Walt were getting the raft ready to leave. Dr. Arzt is trying to capture a bug, when he trips and looses it. Michael comes up to ask how the weather should be for the next day, and Arzt laughes. He's reveals to Michael that he lied about the monsunes. He's not advanced in science and just wanted people to leave for rescue. Suddenly, Arzt starts to ramble about why he went to Australia. He went to meet a woman he met online. The date ended badly, which had him get on Flight 815. Michael says that he's not alone in wanting to get off and prepares to go. Just before he leaves, Arzt's tells him that he'll be waving to him on the beach when they come with rescue.


Mobisode 10 : Jack. Meet Ethan. Ethan? Meet Jack.
A Jack and Ethan Episode


This scene was a missing piece from Season 1, shortly after the crash when Jack was collecting medecine. Ethan walks up and gives Jack a suitcase full of medicene. (This shows that Ben wanted Jack to supply the surrivors meds and keep them healthy.) Jack thanks Ethan and the two start to bond over helping people, and Ethan tells him that he's not alone. Ethan motions to Claire and aks Jack if he's ready to deliver the baby. Jack says he can do it, but he'll need help, wanting Ethan to join him. However, Ethan declines and starts to walk away, then turns back. He's tells Jack that it would be hard for him since his wife and baby died in childbirth, aluding to Juliet's misson on the island. Jack understands and thanks him again for the meds.


Mobisode 11 : Jin Throws a Temper Tantrum on the Golf Couse
A Jin, Hurley, and Michael Episode


This scene was a missing piece from Season 1, with Jin, Hurley, and Michael playing golf. It's Jin's turn to hit the ball, but he misses the whole. However, Jin starts to get angry and upset, cursing God or the island for all his problems. Hurley and Michael have no idea what to do, but get freaked out when Jin says their names. The two of them decide to leave him alone, as Jin starts to cry wanting forgiveness and a happier life.


Mobisode 12 : The Envelope
A Juliet


This scene was a missing piece from Season 3, which was part of Juliet's flashback when she lived with "the Others". Juliet was baking muffins when she burned her hand. Amelia stopped over and wanted to talk with her. She could see that Juliet was upset and she figured it was over her relationship with Ben. However, Juliet told Amelia that there had to be a change. She needed to show her something and went a kitchen drawer and pulled out an envelope. Juliet tried to pull something out, but the other people for the book club came, and she and Amelia froze.


Mobisode 13 : So it Begins
A Christian and Vincent Episode


This scene was a missing piece from Season 1, and the orignal opening to Lost. The scene is from Vincent's point of view at first and he's looking at the luggage spilled over the jungle floor. Noises from the crash and people screaming can be heard in the distant. The dog suddenly hears a whistle and runs to the source. It's CHRISTIAN Shephard, Jack and Claire's father. He calls for Vincent to come to him, petting the dog and smiling. Christian tells Vincent that he needs to wake his son up since he is unconsious. Vincent obeys and heads off. Christian looks proudly into the jungle and says "He has work to do" about Jack. We see Jack's eye open and he awakes startled. That when Vincent find him and Jack stares off after him. This scene goes to prove that Christian very well is alive, and not controlled by "the Monster".
